Review: "Dream Man" by Linda Howard

Dream Man"Dream Man"
by Linda Howard

Genre: Romantic Suspense
Pages: 368
ISBN: 9780671019754
Published: January 1998

Goodreads Blurb:
Detective Dane Hollister of the Orlando police department has never met anyone quite like Marlie Keen. While he has doubts about her supposed clairvoyant powers, she sees crimes as they're being committed, there is no doubt about how much he desires her. To Marlie, Dane is all heat and hard muscle, and he makes her body come alive as it never has before. But not even she can foresee that their passion will lead them on a dangerous journey into the twisted mind of a madman who will threaten their happiness and their lives.

Darcy's Review:
This book had an interesting twist, Marlie is a physic and can actually experience when a man is killing someone. Being the good citizen, she goes to the police to help them out. And being cops, they are very skeptical, starting to investigate her for the crimes. Once they realize she is the real deal things start to heat up, both with the crimes and between Marlie and the lead detective, Dane. Dane, very much the macho male, slowly starts to take over her life and Marlie isn't sure what to do and lets him bowl her over. As things come to a head it is great to see Marlie stand up to Dane and he isn't really sure what to do about her.

One of the best things about this book was the ending. I am sure that many women would love this to happen to them.

I've read the book before and it was an old favorite but I can't seem to remember the ending though. :-)

Guess it's about time I re-read this again.

@ Kah, you know I've never re read a book before ever? It just seems there are so many new books coming out to read.

Really, well I re-read it but didn't seem to like it as much as I did before. But the ending was a nice twist though :-)
