Guest post: "Unknown Futures" by Jessica Subject

I'd like to welcome Jessica Subject on my blog for a stop on her book tour. She will be doing a guest post about what she would like to see in the future.

Things I’d like to see in the future
Unknown Futures takes place in the near future on a space station. And besides the portal which takes those from Earth to the space station, there is also the tube system which transports inhabitants throughout. I think it’s fun to imagine all of the technology we think of as fictitious, which could become reality. Here is a list of some of the things I’d like to see become reality in the future:

1)      Virtual Goggles – Games, yes, but also for checking the weather, surfing the internet... Imagine all that you could do.
2)      Hover Technology – Not only in vehicles, but other modes of transportation, furniture, and more.
3)      Commercial space flight – I know this is so close to coming to fruition, and I am keeping my eye on Virgin Galactic. http://youtu.be/t4h247PPOrY
4)      Transporters – Wouldn’t it be cool if we could be converted into an energy pattern, and then rematerialize elsewhere? It would save on gas, time, etc. I love this idea! Here’s how they do it on television and movies: http://youtu.be/wNC5iLNguRQ
5)      Food Replicators – Who wouldn’t want a machine that will provide a healthy, yet delicious meal, after a long day? Not every day, but it’s a better alternative than fast food.

So what innovative technology would you like to see in the future?

As part of the Unknown Futures blog tour with Sizzling PR, Jessica is giving away a $20 gift certificate to either Amazon.com or AllRomanceEbooks.com. Simply leave a comment with your email address for your chance to WIN! Be sure to follow the tour and comment; the more you comment, the better your chances of winning. The tour dates can be found here: http://www.markofthestars.com/wp/?page_id=8896

Unknown Futures Blurb

Flavia left everything behind to be one of five humans working for the Space Service space station. Extremely homesick, she is excited to learn she will be a guide to a woman from Earth visiting the station for a couple days. She is immediately drawn to the petite woman, seeing past her scars to her true inner beauty, stirring unforeseen desires.

Unfortunately, Jewel is there for a date which Flavia hasn’t been told about. Can she contain her lust and simply show her a good time? Or will she let her desire lead them into an unknown future?

Guest Post & Giveaway: "Game Misconduct" by Bianca Sommerland

Lets welcome Bianca Sommerland to Romance Book Junkies. She is here to do a guest post on her Blog Tour.

Plight of the Puck Bunny

How can you write about hockey without adding a bunny or two? These ambitious women as much a part of the sport as soccer balls. No, you didn't read that wrong. Soccer balls are often used for warm up, can be found at almost any game, and are often seen being pounded against the wall.
In reality, puck bunnies can be a serious issue for both the players and their families. Fortunately, I write erotic romance and can dilute the impact in the stories—though I may eventually throw in a rabid bunny just to see how the Delgado sisters handle her
So, for potential Dartmouth Cobra puck bunnies, how would you go about scoring with one of those big, sexy players who share some very appealing kinks. The most obvious is take a trip to the BDSM club, Blades & Ice, owned by the general manager and frequented by most of the players. You have heard of it, right?
Research is the key to success, girl! You DO NOT want to walk into that club unless you're very comfortable with the edgier kind of play. The owner, Dean Richter, keeps the rough stuff right out in the open to scare little bunnies away. If you're not intimidated, go for it!
Otherwise, there are easier ways to go about it.
Staying at the hotel where the guys are staying is a popular one. Pop into their room with beer, looking all cute in nothing but the team's jersey and some fuck-me shoes is a good start. As a proud puck bunny, you know their schedule and are prepared in advance with conversation that natural revolves around their favourite subject. Hockey? You're warm. Hockey players are still men and they like having their egos stroked. The only problem is you're likely to burst into a room containing more men than any woman can handle on her own. Just imagine chatting it up with the man with the dreamy eyes, while the man with the huge hands plays with your hair, and the man with the skilled fingers massages your feet, your calves, working all the way up to . . .
Yeah, I'm not seeing a downside either. But some of you are looking for an intimate, one-on-one experience. Adding a notch to your lipstick case feels like an accomplishment. Adding five or ten . . . well, there's no judging on Team Puck Bunny, so if gang bangs are your thing, we wish you all the best!
Last, but not least is a method from a puck bunny crafty enough to be included in Game Misconduct. And no, I'm not talking about Oriana. The men like calling her 'bunny' to tease her, but she's a hockey blue blood, so I don't think that counts. The bunny I'm talking about cleverly cornered a rookie during a break from a night practice and went straight for what she wanted. Her efforts give her bragging rights, and she earns points for her bold approach.
Here's an excerpt to show you what I mean. I've also included some of Oriana's interactions with a player to show you what not to do . . . well, unless you already have the distinct advantage of having a player already in love with you.
The odds of that happening are slim, but never lose hope, proud puck bunnies! Your knight in skates and shoulder pads is out there somewhere! And you'll have a whole lot of fun while hunting him down! ;)

Even on the small screen, she could make him out. Max Perron, number 40. A close-up of his face after a sweet slap-shot sent tiny wings aflutter in her stomach. Sun-kissed ocean eyes glowed in a wickedly handsome face. Beautiful . . . even more so up close, filled with heat. And she hadn't seen them in so long, not in person, not in any way that mattered, since the day he brought her flowers for her birthday and she'd told him their friendship was a bad idea. She'd ignored every call from him for what seemed like forever. Ignored them until they stopped coming.
A shriek pierced through the sounds blasting in her ears and brought her back to the present. She took out the earbuds.
"Tyler! Oh, I can't believe it's really you!"
The shrill cry came from a young woman dressed in a huge jersey who stepped out of the shadowed alcove halfway down the ramp on the side of the forum. The players came out of there after practices or games and fans would lay in wait to get a glimpse of their heroes. But Oriana had a feeling this girl was more than a fan.
Tyler Vanek, one of the rookies brought up from the farm team the year before, stopped short and leaned an elbow on the brick wall beside the parking garage entrance, trying to look smooth.
"Hey. And you are . . . ?" His lips curved and his cheeks, soft and freshly shaven, glowed under the bare bulb that flashed on overhead. He raked his fingers through his tight, blond curls, and his eyes traveled over the girl as she hopped on her spiky, red heels.
The poise of a man, with the expression of a little boy eager to get his hand in the cookie jar. Maybe he didn't know who the girl was, but he'd clearly figured out enough to like his chances.
What did Max call them again? Oh, yeah, Puck Bunnies. Oriana smirked when the girl leapt forward with a little shriek. Appropriate.
Vanek braced and caught her before she could knock them both over. "Wow. You're feisty."
Ya think? Oriana stuffed her phone in her book bag and took out her sunglasses. The last dying sunrays had barely crested the city skyline, but she slipped the glasses on anyway. A sidestep up the sidewalk out of their line of sight put her in the perfect position to observe without seeming to. Not because she was into . . . watching or anything, but she was curious to see how far it would go.
Most of the players would offer a signature and gently detach themselves. The rookie obviously didn't know better. Bunny's lucky day.
Clinging to his shirt, the blond Jessica-Rabbit-lookalike rubbed one leg up his thigh. "Can we go somewhere?"
"I can't, I gotta get back." Vanek groaned as her hand disappeared between their bodies. "But here's good."
With his back against the wall, he watched her get on her knees.
Oriana let out a huff of disgust and spun away from the pair. Then checked her watch. The spindly silver hands didn't move.
Stupid batteries.
Groans from below set her teeth on edge. Peeking at the lusty pair, she blushed. How could they do that out in the open? Loud slurps had passers-by glancing their way and doubling their pace. Vanek's baby face screwed up, and he clenched his hands in the girl's hair as she bobbed her head faster and faster. An old man slowed and took a good long look at the show before giving Oriana a toothless grin.
Cheeks blazing, she crossed her arms over her chest and faced the street. The image of another man getting sucked off by a girl on her knees played like porn on the big screen of her mind. She pressed her eyes shut and tried to force the images out of her head. Vanek's grunts brought them back.
What she'd witnessed in the alley had haunted her for nights after.
You made the right choice. Forget it.
But she couldn't.  The way she felt about Max wouldn't go away. She might not want the kind of wild life Max lived, but her heart didn't care.

Guest Post & Giveaway: "The Kure" by Jaye Frances

Today we have Jaye Frances on my blog talking about her book "The Kure" and giving away one Kindle copy of her book. Lets welcome Jaye to Romance Book Junkies.
Thank you, Danielle, for hosting me on Romance Book Junkies today. I really appreciate the opportunity to talk about The Kure, and to let your readers know about my “Resolve To Read” promotion going on right now through Amazon.

One of my greatest challenges in writing The Kure was developing the unexpected romance that developed between the main characters, John Tyler and Sarah Sheridan. While most potential lovers have the opportunity to evaluate each other with honest intentions, John was driven by supernatural forces to meet Sarah, his seemingly innocent advances disguising his true purpose—to determine her willingness to participate in a perverse and forbidden ritual. Not exactly the best circumstances for creating a lasting relationship.

When John ultimately decides to abandon the depraved rite to protect his new love, he vows to keep the dark knowledge of the Kure from influencing Sarah and destroying their chances of a future together. But as Sarah reveals her true feelings for John, she convinces him to reveal the Kure’s secrets, and joins him in an effort to release its seductive power.

In this excerpt, John believes the ritual has failed, and is devastated that he will never be able to be enjoy Sarah’s passionate touch:

If he had known Sarah was going to use a second lantern to illuminate the room’s interior, he would have waited, or sat somewhere else. Now with the light betraying her every move, common courtesy demanded that he direct his focus elsewhere. Until she finished changing, he should pretend to be occupied with adjusting his blanket, or watching the intermittent flashes brighten the loft. But he could no more look away than the ancient sailors could ignore the seductive song of mythic sirens.

She unbuttoned her blouse and bent forward, pulling it free from the tight tuck inside her dress. Breaking the wet seal, she peeled the clinging fabric from her shoulders. Glancing back through the doorway, she saw John staring openly, his gaze unhampered by moral restraint. She simply smiled, granting him permission, allowing him to see her full breasts in the subdued yellow cast of the lantern.

She had left the door open for a reason—not because she needed the light, or had any intention to tempt or tantalize. It was a confirmation of their unspoken bond; they had fought the storm together, and tomorrow they would both learn John’s fate. Any display of feigned virtue or prudish reluctance would have been a sad sequel to the concern and caring—the unspoken desire—that had driven them this far. She had left the door open because there was simply no reason to close it.

John could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He had to find a way to calm himself, to silently assure Sarah that he could appreciate her beauty in the same way she had chosen to reveal it. He had been unconsciously holding his breath. He let it out slowly, demanding that his own body not distract him from Sarah’s.

She reached behind and untied the waistband of her skirt. Without hesitation, she slid it over her hips and let it drop. The thin fabric of her underclothes clung to every contour, every fold, and Sarah made no effort to turn away as she pushed the final piece of damp cotton down her thighs. It fell to her ankles, leaving her naked in the soft, golden light.

The rain beat steady and hard on the roof, its rhythm in concert with the pulsing wind. The horses shuffled about in their stalls, occasionally snorting at the draft of air flowing from the open loft. High above, century-old timbers creaked and groaned with the changing pressure.

Yet John heard none of it. Sarah’s body was a spellbinding vision, her clothing having only hinted at the sheer perfection of her form, and he watched her as though each movement was a sacred revelation, every motion divinely inspired. But as his reverent admiration grew in proportion to his desire, his thoughts were plagued by one inescapable certainty: If the disease could not be arrested by the leeching—if it ultimately took his manhood—he would never know the pleasure of her touch during a playful swim on a warm summer’s evening, or delight in watching the firelight kiss her smooth, inviting skin on a cold winter’s night. If forced to endure the worst possible result of the bloodletting, he would be left with only memories of how the raindrops had sparkled on her face, how her breasts had glistened in the lamp light, and how unhurried and trusting she had been, standing naked before him.

Here’s a brief synopsis:

John Tyler, a young man in his early twenties, awakens to find a ghastly affliction taking over his body. When the village doctor offers the conventional, and potentially disfiguring, treatment as the only cure, John tenaciously convinces the doctor to reveal an alternative remedy—a forbidden ritual contained within an ancient manuscript called the Kure.

Although initially rejecting the vile and sinister rite, John realizes, too late, that the ritual is more than a faded promise scrawled on a page of crumbling paper. And as cure quickly becomes curse, the demonic text unleashes a dark power that drives him to consider the unthinkable—a depraved and wicked act requiring the corruption of an innocent soul.

Ultimately, John must choose between his desperate need to arrest the plague that is destroying his body, and the virtue of the woman he loves, knowing the wrong decision could cost him his life.

For a limited time, read “The Kure” for only $.99 (kindle version)

I always spend the last few days of December reviewing my writing plan for the coming year—to determine what’s going to receive priority and how I will budget my time to make sure I get it done. During one of those planning sessions, I noticed my husband was also putting a few goals together for the new year. When I asked him to tell me about his “resolutions,” he said that one of them was to read more, especially books that fall outside his favorite genres, “just to see what else is out there.” We began to talk about how many more people are now reading books of all kinds, primarily due to increased availability and choice of low-cost eBooks for the kindle and nook. I often see comments from readers who decided to try a particular author’s work because it was ninety-nine cents, or in some cases, free. Then my husband asked an interesting question: “Why don’t you offer some kind of promotion to encourage more people to read The Kure, with the idea that they’ll be more inclined to read the book if you temporarily lower the price?” I really had to think about this one, but after realizing it might motivate a few more folks who are not familiar with The Kure to take a look, I decided to do it. I’m calling it “Resolve To Read”, and it’s going on right now. The kindle version of The Kure can be purchased for ninety-nine cents on Amazon. So if you were planning on buying a kindle version anyway, why not take advantage of the “Resolve To Read” promotion and save two bucks?

Book Tour: Whips & Wax by Bonnie Bliss

Lets welcome Bonnie Bliss to the Romance Book Junkies Blog. She is stopping by on her tour for her new book Whips & Wax. She is doing a guest post about ball gags and a giveaway so don't forget to enter.
Today I’m going to talk about ball gags.

Did I just hit a really hard, taboo subject?

If you haven’t noticed by now, I like to make sexual waves, and I’m not afraid of it.

First, I would like to say that. I have not been a fan of the ball gag. For me it was always a form of humiliation in play, like calling a woman a ‘slut’ ‘bitch’ or ‘whore’. I am not a submissive that is turned on by those terms. Though, there are some that are. The ball gag crossed that hard limit line for me, and made me feel less than my Dom. I felt like he was degrading me, cutting off my passionate mewls of sexual bliss. It had always felt like I was being made less of a person, in a situation that I normally felt totally loved and adored.

Aside from the degredation that it created inside me, it made me panic. I don’t like anything locking my mouth open. Breathing only through my nose and drooling. It was pure humiliation at its finest. Although my husband loves my screams, he wants to push the boundaries. He always wants to take the next step, and the next step in a punishment situation was the ball gag. Something I don’t like, that makes me nervous, scares me, and would be the ultimate in punishment. My husband can’t punish with much play, but the ball gag makes it punishment.

So I set out on my mission to get over my hard limit of the ball gag. It was slow, proceeding through the course of a month. We started with a sock in the mouth. That wasn’t so bad. I could push it out with my tongue if it got too intense. Though I was commanded by my husband, to use a safe gesture rather than just spit it out. He was still in control. I would be exhibiting direct defiance by that action. It then went to tying a scarf. And finally, I got to just holding the ball gag in my mouth, not latching it in the back. Finally, a week ago, I was able to take the whole ball gag. For me it was intense, it was empowering, and I felt such great happiness at pleasing my husband and Sir.

For those not involved in the lifestyle, they can have no clue how much that makes a submissive find peace. For me it was the greatest moment of our time together so far. I would never ask for the ball gag, and it will forever be part of punishment. But I did something, with the careful nudges of my, Sir.

Now, onto the book!

Excerpt of Whips and Wax:
She laughed and cried at the same time. Her body thrust over the edge of any sort of sanity. Her hips bucked against him, the firm hit of his cock against her blood filled clit made it all slap down against her and she came. For him, for her Sir, for her lover, and husband, the only man that could make her peak like she had fireworks going off inside her body. Her juices shot from her, the pain it induced, the pleasure, all of it made her thrash her head back and forth. And still he taunted, thrusting, making her laugh. One thing they had learned about her, when she came hard—she laughed.

Neil had no intention of cumming yet. This was Marie’s time. He sat up, lifting his cock from her clit. She needed a few minutes to come down from the high. Neil swung himself off the bed and moved to look at her face. Stroking her hair while cupping her breast gently, he asked her.

“Are you okay kitten?” Her eyes responded before her voice.

“Yes Sir.” She was sweating. A light sheen covered her forehead. And she had just lied to Sir.

“My shoulders are sore, Sir.” A light blush painted her cheeks at her correction. It might earn her a new punishment.

Neil leant down and softly kissed her lips.

“Thank you for being honest, kitten.”

He leant over and untied the belts, allowing her to sit up and stretch a little. He watched as she rubbed her wrists. Neil massaged her sore shoulder, pressing his fingertips into the tender flesh. Just as he finished he heard the front door bell.

“I’ll be right back.”

He grabbed his jeans from the chair and pulled them on, then left the room. Stepping down two stairs at a time he reached the door in seconds. He grabbed the keys on the telephone table and unlocked the door. A man in his forties stood with a parcel in his hand.

“Mr. Jones, a delivery for you, can you sign here please?”

“Yes, are you nearly finished for the day?” Neil took the electronic pad and scribbled his signature.

“I wish, I finish at six.”

“Crikey. At least you have good weather and it’s the weekend tomorrow.”

The courier laughed. “Yes, there is that. There you go, enjoy your afternoon.”

“Oh I will. Thank you.” Neil took his parcel and locked the door behind him. He knew what it was. Should he hide it and save it for later? He paused at the bottom of the stairs and thought about it. Marie had blatantly opened her corset and thong. Did she deserve this treat right now, her treat? Not really, it was Neil’s. He walked up the stairs and along the landing to the bedroom once more.

Marie had come around, she was ready for more. Her eyes lit up when she saw the box he carried. Neil put his finger to his lips.

“I’m glad this came while I was home. I’ll open it with you once I’ve finished with you, you naughty kitten. “

Just to tease her he placed the new package six inches from her head on the pillow. So close she would be able to smell the cardboard packaging. He watched the tension mount, her pupils dilated, her little pink tongue darted out and brushed over her lips in anticipation.

Guest Post & Giveaway: Tiffany Allee

I'm really excited because today I have Tiffany Allee on my blog doing a guest post about Incubus and she's also going to be giving away a copy of her book "Banshee Charmer". So lets all welcome Tiffany to the Romance Book Junkies.

The Incubus

Incubi were thought to be demonic spirits who would attack or coerce women in the night. In the Middle Ages, they were actually recognized legally and blamed for unwanted pregnancies and as the cause for deformed babies. The incubus went by many names, but was always heavily associated with sex and even rape.

Seriously creepy stuff.

In the Banshee Charmer world, incubi are a species of otherworlder—or nonhuman—that are thought to be extinct. They were charming creatures who exuded a sexual vibe and who, like they're succubi cousins, were able to pull energy from their bed partners. This sharing of energy comes with a cost though, an incubus who did this with someone also gained a piece of that person and vice versa. The more energy shared, the closer the lovers got. It's the price they had to pay for power.

The main character in Banshee Charmer is a half-banshee detective named Mac. She's not so sure incubi are extinct. In fact, she believes that she's pursing an incubus serial killer. Here's a scene where Mac discusses her theory with Aidan, who is an investigative counterpart from the Otherworlder Enforcement Agency (OWEA), a policing force similar to the FBI.

“Fine. We’ll work together on this one. But that doesn’t make us friends, and it doesn’t mean I trust you as far as I can throw you.” I leaned across the table and gave him my best cop face. “And no funny business.”

His grin turned into a full-on smile, revealing a set of sparkling white, perfect teeth. “Oh, I can keep my hands to myself if you can.”

I snapped my mouth shut when I realized I was gaping at him while he disappeared into the kitchen with his coffee cup. When he reappeared in the dining room, I’d managed to put my blank face back on.

When you’re without a good comeback, ignore, ignore, ignore. “So we’re looking for an incubus. Possibly a succubus impersonating one, but I think that’s less likely.”

“Incubi have been extinct for over one hundred years.”

“I’m aware of that. But, it’s the only explanation that works. Not only does it fit, it fits like a freaking puzzle piece.”

“Except for the fact that not only are they extinct, they’ve also never been known for killing their food.”

“Killers come in all shapes and sizes, Aidan. There’s nothing about incubi that I’ve ever heard of that prevents them from killing. Our sensitive confirmed at least one of our victims was drained of her psychic energy. The method fits, the sex fits, the fact they all died without a struggle fits. It all fits.”

“And you don’t think it’s more likely to be a succubus because?” he asked, his voice annoyingly calm and reasonable.

“Call it a gut instinct. Call it experience. Call it statistics. How many sex crime–related female serial killers have we seen in the last few decades?”

Obviously, I've twisted the original legend of the incubus (as well as those of other creatures) to fit my world. But I did try to keep the original flavor of the incubus legend alive.

What types of creatures do you like to see in paranormal romance?

Banshee Charmer Synopsis:

“When she’s sent to a crime scene and finds her second dead woman in as
many weeks, half-banshee detective Kiera “Mac” McLoughlin is convinced a
serial killer is on the loose. Incubi are extinct, her boss insists. But
what else can kill a woman in the throes of pleasure? When her partner is
murdered after using witchcraft to locate the killer and Mac is thrown off
the case, her frustration turns to desperation.

Certain the killer is an incubus, Mac works behind her department’s back
to chase down slim, sometimes perilous leads. While the killer eludes her,
she does discover handsome Aidan Byrne, an investigative counterpart from
the enigmatic Otherworlder Enforcement Agency. Mac typically runs her
investigations fast and hard, but with Aidan at her side, she’s running
this one “hot” as well. But Aidan knows more than he’s letting
on—something that could shatter their blazing romance and add Mac to the
killer’s growing body count...”

Interview & Giveaway: Afterlife Series by T.P. Boje

I know you get asked this question over and over but can you tell us a little about yourself? Maybe something juicy. ;)
I am from Denmark where I lived until 2½ years ago. My husband and I were tired of the cold and dark winters so we sold everything that we had and moved to Florida with our kids and four overloaded suitcases. The sun and the heat makes me happy. It is so much easier to live when it is hot – especially with kids. There is just less clothes to put on when you need to go out. And you can actually be outside all year around. I love it.
Juicy? Are you sure your readers are up to that? Well okay. My husband and I once had sex in the ocean in Italy under the fullmoon. Was that too much? You really shouldn’t ask me questions like that.

When did you first start writing? Are you a full time author or do you do it on the side?
I have always been writing. Ever since I was a small child I have always told stories to whoever would listen. In school I remember sitting in class during recess and telling stories to my friends making them forget that they were about to go out and play. Even my teacher would often listen in as well. Later I would write stories for my teacher and he loved to read them. I kept writing short-stories in highschool and then I became a journalist. For many years I worked at a Danish TV-station, and it was then I came up with the idea for my first novel. A Danish truck-driver had been found dead in Poland and I was sent there to cover the investigation for the TV-station. Two years later that story became my first mystery novel. Since then I wrote two other mystery-novels that has been published in Denmark, Norway and Germany. I write full-time and that is the only thing I ever want to do.
When I moved to Florida I started writing in English and published another mystery-novel called “One, Two … He is coming for you” but then I wanted to try something new. I wanted to write for a younger audience and that was when I wrote the fantasy-novel “The Eye of the Crystal Ball” that came out this June.  But something was missing, I thought. I needed some romance. So I started reading some paranormal romance and loved it. I knew right away that I wanted to write that too. Now I have written three novels in the series called Afterlife. I am planning on writing three more, so I will be busy for awhile.

Do you have a author that has really inspired you?
I have plenty. I try to read everything I can get my hands on. It is so inspiring to read other people’s work. If I have to put a name out, I would say that Anne Rice is one of my favourite author’s. But my all-time favourite book is The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. I read it as a young teenager and fell in love.
How long does it normally take you to write an average book or your last book?
It takes about two months. Then my editor has it for about three weeks.
What do you think makes a story great?
When I read a book I expect to learn new things about life and often also about myself. Books can either be a mirror where you see yourself and learn something about yourself, or they can be a window where you look into a completely different world and see something you have never seen before. The good books are both, I think.
Can you describe your book "Beyond" in one sentence?
Death & Life meet with a twist
Tell us a little about your new series Afterlife.
Haven’t we all at some point wondered where we will go when we die? I used to do it a lot as a kid. Is heaven for real and what is it going to be like once I get there? What kind of a body will I have? What will I look like? Will all of my family come with me? Will I meet my grandmother there? As I grew up I never thought much about life after death and if there really was one or not. I was busy living my life and thinking about my life here on earth. But then one day not many months ago a thought just popped into my head. What if we have to go to school when we die? As it so often happens, the thought wouldn’t go away again once it had come into my head, and I started playing with the idea. If it is true that we leave our bodies here on earth, then we must have some new body on the other side, right? And it would probably take some time to get used to that new body. And how about going through walls and doors and stuff? I mean if we become spirits then we would have to learn how to do all those things, right? And what about flying? That is not something that comes to us easily. We would have to practice first, right? And someone would have to teach us. So eventually I started imagining this school that we all had to graduate from in order to be let into heaven, and soon Meghan popped into my head and started walking around on that school - that just had to be run by angels. She soon made some friends and fell in love (as it often happens when you are sixteen). And that was when the problems began. Because the boy was still human, living on earth, so how could they ever be together? That was when I realized that a book-series was born - and  it was about how dying is only the beginning of the next great adventure

Have you done lots of research for your books or do the stories just come to you?
They just come to me. When I used to write mystery it involved a lot of research because everything has to be so realistic down to the smallest detail or the reader will not believe in the story. But with fantasy and paranormal romance it is completely different. I can use my imagination and create the world exactly as I want it to be. That is a lot of fun.
What are you currently working on?
I am about to begin the fourth book in the series. I am really looking forward to it, because a lot has happened to my characters and this book is where a lot of the knots are tied together.
Can you tell us about some of your prior achievements?
I used to be an anchor at a Danish TV-station. That was a lot of fun, but not as much fun as writing.
Is there anything that I didn't cover that you would like to talk about or say to your potential readers?
Just that I love to write. It is what I am all about. I love spellbinding the audience like I did as a child, and I hope they will enjoy reading my books as much as I love writing them.
What would you like to ask?
I would like to invite readers to go to my blog www.tpboje.blogspot.com and check out my books. Let me know which one they most likely would want to read.

Just for fun:
Hardback or Paperback?  Paperback. It is so much easier to carry around in your bag. I prefer digital to be completely honest. It is a lot easier to carry with you when you travel.
Dog ears or Bookmarks?
I am horrible. I make dog ears all the time.
YA novels or Adult novels?
I love YA novels.
Library or Bookstore?
Bookstore. I always want to own my books. I want to be able to go back and read in them again.
Reading glasses or No glasses?
No glasses.
Snack while reading or No snacks?
I will have a cup of tea.

Meghan is 16 when it happens to her. She wakes up on a flying steamboat on her way to a school run by Angels in a white marble castle. She meets Mick who helps her through a difficult time in a different world filled with heavenly magic. One day she finds a mirror in the cellar of the school and goes through it. She ends up back on earth where she meets Jason. But Jason is in danger and Meghan knows something important.
Soon she will have to choose between the two worlds.
The one she belongs to now, and the one she left.

Beyond is a Y/A paranormal romance and the first book in T. P. Boje’s Afterlife-series.

It is Meghan’s second year at The Academy. While trying to help and care for Jason on earth she is struggling to keep up in school, where they this year will learn both to ride Pegasus’ and fly through severe storms. Meanwhile Mick is becoming more than a friend to her and soon she finds herself facing the unavoidable choice.

But something evil is threatening the students at the Academy and Meghan is no longer safe within the walls of the castle. Something causes several of the students to be caught in the middle of a nightmare, that they can’t wake up from.

Soon they suspect that there might be a traitor in their midst.

Serenity is a Y/A paranormal romance. It is the second book in the Afterlife-series

Meghan’s training at the Academy is coming to an end. Everything is going great as she comes closer to graduation. She is engaged to be married and the wedding is near when she hears some disturbing news that makes her rethink her future.

In class the students are learning to catch dreams and fly with the speed of light. Meghan soon discovers her special talents and that she is much stronger than she thought.
