Elizabeth has been through her own form of hell and back. She still lives with it all hot on her heals. Tom is one of three (triplet) brothers and an alpha to the core. The three of them pretty much run the town they live in. Right now Tom is investigating some issues with the local livestock. Upon the request of his brother, he has to put the investigation aside to escort a woman reporter to the slopes, safely. Little does he know his entire life is about to change...

This is the third book I've read from the Heart of the Wolf series and each of the three were read completely out of order. Actually the last one I read was book 11! This goes to show that they are written and can be read as stand-alone stories which are fantastic for all of us readers out there! I look forward to reading many more from this series in the near future :)
