My Review:
Muriel is the daughter on Satan. Its not easy being the princess of hell. She is still a virgin and her favorite color is pink. Unlike most parents, Muriel and her father fight about how well behaved she is and how she makes her dad look bad in front of the other demons. But no matter what she still loves her Daddy. Her dad wants her deflowered but she wants to fall in love first. Its hard to find love when your father is Satan and she doesn't like the typical nice guys. She wants her man to be a tough, bad boy type who knows how to kick some ass. Then Auric walks into her life. He fits all her criteria but little does she know that he is keeping a very bad secret that can mean life or death. 

This is another great story by Eve. Its shorter than a novel but it still flows nicely. I didn't feel rushed and I still was able to make the connection with the characters which is hard sometimes in a shorter book or novella. The world building was done with finesse and didn't seem overly complicated. True to reputation Eve makes this another hot read and I had a smile on my face for the majority of the book. I love the humor she puts into her books.  


I would recommend this book to paranormal fans and its definitely for adults because of the hotness factor. The only warning I have is that you need to be able to look at religion with a little bit of a sense of humor. If your in the mood for something hot, fun and quick then you need to read this book. I honestly enjoyed it. I will definitely be looking out for her next book in this series "Snowballs in Hell".

Darcy's Review:
This was a fun book filled with a bridezilla who has to be the biggest waste of air I have ever seen, but she did make for some great scenes in the book. Suzanne and Ryder have been divorced for years, but in the last few months have been thrown together matchmaking for their friends. Suzanne is planning the wedding for friends when Ryder bring her unexpected news, they never did get divorced, which brings up all sorts of complications for them.

For the most part watching Suzanne and Ryder maneuver through all sorts of issues and crazy antics was great fun. It did get old though that neither one of them would take the time to talk through their issues instead of assuming what the other was thinking of.

This book, while set in the NASCAR world of the series, really didn't have much to do with the racing world other than having drivers that were the characters.

Darcy's Review:
This book was so much better than the last ones in the series. I really liked Mikayla, she wasn't your typical virginal heroine, she actually had a back bone and wasn't afraid to use it when she needed to. Which would then drive Nik nuts as right from the start he was fighting his attraction to her.

Watching these 2 dance around each other and their feelings for each other was the fun of the story. Nik had been very hurt in his past, seems to be a running theme from this author, and Mikayla was set up to be the person everyone aspires to be, such a good girl never does anything wrong, and has the trust of her whole community. This description of Mikayla has the possibility to grate on your nerves, but she is really likable. I loved how everyone from Mikayla's family to friends to community members and Nik's team kept warning him not to hurt her.

The crime that Mikayla saw was only mildly interesting. I had figured out how it was done fairly early, just not the specific person. It looks like things will be interesting in future books with Mikayla having contacts the team can use.

Darcy's Review:
I always love reading this series, it is like going home to a bunch of friends that you haven't seen for a long time. The couple of this book were so very sweet, especially Shelby. We had met her in earlier books and I really felt sorry for her situation. Watching these 2 pussyfoot around each other was so much fun, Shelby really knew what she wanted, but Luke was so reluctant, but Shelby finally wore him down.

We also had such bigger issues that the town had to deal with, things that caused the town to come together in sadness and rescue. The events bring about big changes to the town, some that we see right away and some that will have repercussions in the community for years to come.

And because Virgin River never had enough babies or romances we get plenty of those outside of the main couple. Those extra romances brought about some great scenes and lots of fun.

I can't wait until I can visit Virgin River again!!

My Review:
The author does a great job writing Lacey's story of humiliation and revenge with just enough humor to keep you laughing during a otherwise sad situation. Lacey is a housewife that finds out her husband is cheating and she gets the ultimate revenge by humiliating him in front of everyone he knows. I don't normally like reading about cheating husbands but Lacey made me proud. I absolutely loved her character. She has a talent with words and writes a histericle newsletter about her cheating husband. Her newsletter ends up getting the attention of the media and the whole town. So, Lacey decides to move into her lake cabin to hide out for awhile while everything settles down. She has no idea that she's going to have a hunk for a neighbor and he is going to catch her in some really funny situations.

This book was really well written. I didn't feel rushed or bored. It was very entertaining. I felt like the ending was unexpected but realistic. This book will keep you laughing so if your in the mood for a light, funny read this book will be perfect. I'm usually not a fan of chick-lit or contemporary romance but I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of chick-lit or contemporary romance, I highly recommend this book for you.

Darcy's Review:
OMG, this book was so much fun to read. It had all the characteristics of books that I come to rely on from this author, woman that are strong, fight like crazy, are slightly crazy, have a wicked sense of humor and a razor sharp tongue, and really hot sex scenes.
I wasn't too sure when I started this book, but soon I was sucked into this story and really loved Neecy and her ornery personality. Yager was fun too, he was so much like a love sick puppy dog it was fun watching Neecy beating him down, but he just wouldn't give up and there in lies so much of the fun of the book. I also loved getting to know the Crows and the Ravens and how they were so different from each other, yet so a like too. The way each would pick and bug the other like siblings really made for some fun scenes, especially the ones between Mike and Janelle. What a great book to read!!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Sure, I'm 33 and I'm married and have a 17 month old son. I live in California although I lived in the UK for two years--Cambridge and Edinburgh, and that's where I was bitten by the writing bug!

 When and why did you begin writing?

I began while living in Cambridge, England and it was basically because I was living in such a magical place, I felt the need to be creative. You can't help but think of great stories when confronted with such awesome history!

What do you think makes a story great?

It has to be something that keeps you up late at night and something you can't put down--a page turner. And it really doesn't have to do anything with subject matter. As long as it's a page turner...

We all have to know. Who designed the cover?

LOL well, I did the design. I need to caveat this by saying I purchased the images and then added the Halloweeny backgrounds, changed hair and eye color and added the text in photoshop. Yay photoshop!

Did you have to do a lot of research for this book?

Nope, none really. Just pulled everything out of my head. I might have researched some of the locations a bit but I'd traveled to all of them so it was pretty easy to write about them.

How long did it take you to write "Fire Burn & Cauldron Bubble"?

About 6 months.

OK I have to know. When does book two come out?

I'm thinking in about 4 months from now

How may books are there going to be in the series? Will they all be based on the same characters or will you have other couples? 
I think there will be 3-5 books in the series. Yes, same characters but new characters could be introduced.

What current projects are you working on?

I'm working on the follow up book to Fire Burn, Toil and Trouble. I've just finished chapter 9 out of a proposed 20 so getting there!

Is there anything you want to say?

I just want to thank you and all my readers for giving my books a chance. I know there are so many choices out there for you all to read and it really means a lot to me when someone takes a chance on me!

Darcy's Review:
I just love this series, part of the appeal is the crazy antics of the dragon family, the way the all love each other, but still fight, call names, and their actions and thought patterns are like jumping beans on speed. It really takes a lot to follow some of the things that happen as the action and conversations turn on a dime, but since this seems to be the way that I think I have no problems keeping up.

In a way I hadn't been looking forward to this book as Keita is my least favorite, she has always seemed like a spoiled, vain, vapid brat. As the book started out it seemed like my thoughts were valid ones, but I was glad to learn that Keita isn't what she seems. I did like Ragnar, although he seemed liked more of an after thought in this book. There was so much going on with the larger story arc that the story of Keita and Ragnar was a back burner.

But with that said, I did love the larger story arc, it left enough for all of the past characters to shine and be who we learned to love in the earlier books. I loved that Izzy was back and still had issues with Eibhear and that maybe, just maybe his is starting to realize what the rest of us know.

I can't wait for the next book for some resolutions with a bunch of the story lines!!
