Goodreads Blurb:
All Miranda Thibodeaux really wants to do is survive corporate hell and be left alone. But as the daughter of the Incubi king, being left alone isn’t on her schedule. And as an avatar to a goddess with multiple personality issues, taking things in stride isn’t either.
Daniel looks like an ordinary surfer boy—T. T. B.--Tall, Tanned, and Blond. Hot he may be, but ordinary he’s not. Beneath the pretty packaging lies a ruthless warrior, a servant to the Vampire Council. His mission is to find Miranda and present her to the council, then get the hell out of Dodge before he loses his focus. The last thing he needs is the distraction of the testy female.
When circumstances force Miranda to turn to T.T.B. for help, they both end up with more than they bargained for. And that normal human life she wanted? Not really doable when everyone wants a piece of her...
My Review:
Miranda seems
to have no choices in her life any longer. Just when she thought it was all
smooth sailing a storm had to go and brew a whopper (figuratively speaking).
And it all started once Daniel (AKA T.T.B.) walked into her life. She’s now
finding out the other side of herself, a side she did not realize she was
missing and facing dangers that we would shirk away from in a blink!
Daniel is
still a bit of a mystery to me, as I’m sure he will be to you as well. He’s not
one that likes to reveal much about himself, but is not ashamed to express his
feelings. He’s hot, sexy, loving, strong, committed and brave. I definitely
would not mind meeting him, anywhere ;)
I felt as if
I was left hanging a bit (forgive me if this is part of a series) there are a
few questions that still linger in my mind, especially about Miranda’s best
friend. I enjoyed all of the characters and their personalities. The antics and
chemistry between Miranda and Daniel was a blast. I plan on looking into more
from Jennifer James in the near future; her writing is very fun :)
