My Review: Milly sure knows how to write one hot and engrossing read! She had me hooked after reading Sharp Change and I find myself still hooked and looking for more after reading this story. This is a short, erotic paranormal read that grabs a hold of you and does not let go! Any paranormal romance reader that enjoys it nice and hot will enjoy the brief escape they’ll get with Wynter’s Captive.

Talk about timing! Lili is on her way to her cousins wedding (and in a huge rush), when she suddenly sees someone or something in the road. Thinking she hit the person/thing she pulls over and checks to see if they are alright. BAD IDEA Lili! The male whisks Lili away, abducting her and bringing her to some other males. Abduction… bad! Hot man in front of her right now… good! Very good indeed!

A 4.5 rating for me rounded to a five. My only reason for not giving it a perfect 5 is I was looking for a bit more of a build between Lili and Cade. They are a great couple, the attraction, desire and antics between the two make you want to know more about their future as a couple. I look forward to what Milly has in store for us next :)

I have to start off by sharing who my favorite character of this story (hands down) is, Shar’s mother. She’s a trip! Any mother that pokes her nose (very bluntly) in the most personal of ways into her daughter’s business just to see her well and happy is A-OK in my book! You see, Shar is going through a mysterious magic problem. It’s slowly leaving her, leaking away out of her being. After five years of being separated from her husband, it’s only gotten worse. After some poking around by her mother, she finds out the answer, the one and only solution to fix her magic problem and just cannot go through with it, sex. Yes, it’s a great thing, but when your mother is pressuring you about it, offering to set you up with various men and in the most embarrassing of ways, it’s just awkward. Besides, the only man Shar continues to desire in her bed is Zahir. But he wants nothing to do with her.

April created some very lovable characters and a great story that I hope she will continue on with, a sequel, possibly a spin-off? Either one would be a great addition to her collection ;)

You need exciting and different plots with hot scenes. Scenes that make the reader squirm in their seats but also fantasize a little. Or a lot. Heck, I like to jump off the deep end and go for broke. Erotic is still a story. It might have amazing and scorching sex and what goes on with the couple because of it, but it is still a story. And readers want to be captured and held enthralled. A great erotic novel is created by giving the reader a good dose of imaginative plot, incredibly hot sex scenes and enough passion that it jumps off the pages.

Oh my! A fun, funny, quick, sensual and very satisfying read that any erotic romance reader will love! Stranded Temptation contains very lovable characters and an entertaining story that pulls you right into its pages and does not let go even after the end :)

Kara has a like/hate relationship with her boss. He works her like a machine, no breaks, no vacation, nothing. All she wants is to have an actual life outside of the workplace. Love these two characters! They are my first favorite couple of the year. They have so much chemistry, adoration and love that flows between them that you feel it’s warmth through the pages. I also LOVE April’s HEA’s! A perfect ending to a great story!
