Darcy's Review:
This book was so much fun. Con and Sin just can't stand each other, so it is such great fun to watch them fall for each other. Both of them had their own issues that made it hard to give into their feelings. Sin's issues also seemed to go to other people including her brothers. She just isn't sure how to deal with people who love her and want to help protect her and her awkwardness was so much fun to watch.

The story line with Sin infecting the Wargs wasn't all that interesting to me. There was a lot of political maneuvering, that normally I like, but this time was boring.

I really liked Luc's part in the story. He has always been such a grumpy curmudgeon so watching him get knocked off kilter and accepting the things that happened to him was fun.

I am sad to see this series come to a close. I just hope that with new series we get to see these characters that we have come to love.

Darcy's Review:
This book takes place 2 years after the first one, and we learn more about the Edge and more specifically an area called The Mire, a place where exiles are welcome.

One such family of exiles are the Mar's, Cerise the defacto head of the family. The Mar's are a large family, that like others, are involved in a fued with another family, one who has been manipulated by The Hand.

The Hand, who happens to be an old enemy of William's, has been asked to go on a mission to go after The Hand. It is during this mission that William crossed paths with Cerise. Cerise is on her own mission to save her families property, but as they seem to be on the same path, these 2 travel together. The more time they spend together the more their attraction becomes, with each holding secrets from the other.

The action ramps up with the feud, lots of magic, weird creatures, and Cerise's crazy family, which was one of the best aspects of the book. I can't wait for more books set in this world!!

My Review:
The tale of Dracula has always been a great classic story. The author of "Dracula, My Love" retells the classic story of Dracula with some fantastic additions. I can't praise this book enough. If you loved the classic Dracula then this book is a must read. She tells the story from a whole different view with a romantic twist. So many questions were left unanswered in the original such as who are the three female vampires living in the castle, how did Dracula become a vampire, what is his side of the story and many more. The author has taken the classic tale and made it so much better.

Mina is a young women that grew up in an orphanage and knows nothing of her past. She is engaged to a friend named Johnathan she grew up with at the orphanage. He travels to Transylvania on business to sell some property to Mr. Dracula and ends up in a hospital with brain fever. In the meantime Mina travels on vacation with her friend Lucy and Lucy's mother. While there she falls in love with another man named Mr. Wagner and her friend Lucy becomes very ill. It turns out all these occurrences are connected and the hunt for Dracula begins. The problem is it turns out Dracula isn't the mean, evil vampire everyone has made him out to be and has a logical explanation for everything.

I couldn't help but fall in love with Dracula in this book and I didn't know who I wanted to come out on top in the end. Don't get me wrong. This book still has that spooky feeling we all experienced in the classic. Dracula is no way totally innocent.

I was a little sad at the end because I had hoped it would turn out differently, but that's just my preference. If you read the book I would like to know your feelings on the ending.

I am a huge fan of paranormal and historical romance so this book felt like it was made for me. I loved it. The only thing that bothered me was for the first half of the book I felt like I had read it before and I knew what was going to happen because it was so similar to the classic but when I got deeper into the story I really started to fall in love. I highly recommend this book to fans of paranormal and historical romance. You will not be disappointed its worth your time to read.

Darcy's Review:
This is a tough one to rate as for part of the book is was so sweet, cheesy and schmaltzy that it drove me nuts, but then again those same qualities are what this author does best, this time around it was so hit or miss through the book. The beginning of the book was more miss, but the last half of the book was so much better. I am not sure if it was because by then I got used to it or if the book really was better.

Queisha (hated the name), is such a contrast, at times she was a fun free spirit that you wanted for your best friend, at other times she has so many issues it drives you nuts, but overall you liked her. She was just what was needed for the twins she inherited. Watching her with her sense of wonder and play with them was her saving grace.

I wasn't too sure of Chance from the start, his story didn't make sense and was slightly confusing. Once you got past that he was fun to read, slightly spastic and his whole loosing his feathers, and the whoomping of his wings was hilarious. His interaction with the twins was so great, he would have won over anyone.

Like all of this author's books there were the clever t-shirts with great sayings, this time around they were much more pg oriented and we also had lots of puns with the male anatomy.

Darcy's Review:
I really liked this book and would have rated it 4 stars but I really thought Luc was a prick for most of the book. I just wanted to reach into the book and smack him upside the head!!

In the previous book Luc and Alyssa sent a scorching hot night together after which he promptly left, sending her flowers the next day. Part of the deal with them spending the night together had Luc coming back for a week to guest chef in the new restaurant Alyssa was set to open. Alyssa is wanting to take her life in a different direction and is hoping the restaurant will help her even though her other business is a success, it is a strip club where often she performs.

Fast forward 3 months and Alyssa can't get Luc and their night together out of her mind. She calls to remind him of their deal, reluctantly he comes back to town. He too can't get her out of his mind, but he is ready to settle down, get married, have kids, dog, white picket fence, the whole schebang, but in that plan there is no place for a stripper or even a former stripper. Sadly the moment that Luc sees Alyssa all he can think of is their former night and he realizes what a big problem the coming week is going to be. Alyssa compounds the problem by having the hotel loose his reservation giving him no place to stay but her place. Here is where all the fireworks start to happen.

Luc basically thinks that Alyssa is a whore, even though she said when they spent the night together previous she told him that he was the first man she had sex with in 2-3 years. But Luc sees her strip and her over protective bouncer/bodyguard, who has made his interest in her blazingly clear, even though Alyssa doesn't feel that way about him. No matter what she tells Luc he thinks that she is lying.

Since Alyssa is in a business that many people feel is morally wrong she is running into trouble with a stalker. As the stalker strikes escalate Luc's jealous feelings do too when Alyssa turns to her bouncer for help and not Luc. Things start to go more and more crazy and painful events from Alyssa's past come to light, making Luc feel like as ass, which he should.

As time goes on Luc is then confronted with issues from his past that could destroy what little relationship the 2 have established. With both past problems rearing their heads that could be the end of either of them. In the end the bad guys are caught and Luc comes to his senses almost at the cost of all that he holds dear.

Darcy's Review:
I was so happy to get this book and head back to the world this author has created, it is one that is so much fun and makes you wish you were a jumper and could experience grimscape for yourself.

Our core group has been backed into a corner with the actions of the last books, their pesky sense of right leading their actions. So when you are backing into a corner after exposing corruption what do you do, well you start to build the world back up in a way that is fair to everyone. This is the mission of this book, and because they are March, Jax, and crew things don't always go as planned and they are forced to make choices that are for the greater good instead of what they would like to do for themselves. Some of these choices leave a melancholy feeling, when one faces war you realize just what is important to you and what those costs of war are. The way that they go about building up their troops is an interesting choice, but one that makes so much sense considering who March is and they find allies that they would never considered. And always Jax's sneakiness, especially that at the end, leave us knowing just how much she has changed from where she started out, and wanting to see just where she is going next.

Darcy's Review:
This book grips you right away, you are thrown into the story from the start, learning of Annie's mind set in the aftermath of being kidnapped. We learn exactly what happens as each week when she shares a nugget of information with her shrink. With each fact exposed you understand where Annie is coming from and are amazed that she is doing as well as she is and it makes you wonder if you would be able to survive with as much grace as she did.

As the story goes on we see that the police are still working just who was behind her kidnapping. The police manage to ferret out the plan behind it and it will blow you away.

One thing that I really liked about this book was that in addition to seeing the aftermath in Annie's life, we get to see how this affected those close to her. While the kidnapping had the most devastation to Annie it also happened to her friends and family.
