Guest Post & Giveaway: "Taming Her Wolf" by Eve Langlais

I am ubber excited to have Eve Langlais on my blog once again. We have been friends for a long time. She was my first author spotlight when I started by blog and she was just starting out as well. So I could have Eve on my blog everyday and be happy. She has a great sense of humor and is always there to help. So anyways lets get down to business. I have reviewed "Taming Her Wolf" and if you scroll down to the next post that would be it. I'm going to let Eve take over from here.
Is it me or do most vampire stories revolve around guy vampires? Sure, they’re big, dark and mysterious, but how come whenever we see a woman with fangs she’s either the bad ass evil bitch from hell, or some tiny,  doll-like angel who wouldn’t hurt a fly? Screw that. Give me a story with a female vampire who isn't whining about who she is, who takes what she wants.  Since I couldn't find a tale along those lines, I wrote one. Want to read about a real vampiress? And not some wimpy one who drinks from plastic bags and moans on and on about how she hates her undead life. My vampiress loves her state of being, and sucks her hemoglobin straight from the source.
Which brings me to the hero. Gavin is a Lycan. He’s got balls, great big ones lol, and attitude. When he accidentally ends up caught and offered up as a vampire buffet, he’s determined to fight his way free—killing anything in his path, even the sexy female with fangs.
When two stubborn minds meet, it’s a beautiful thing to watch, or at least I think so. They fight. He embarrasses her. She shows him who’s stronger. He disarms her with talk and his body. She bites him. And when they finally let their passion peak, let’s just say it’s hot.
But, don’t worry, even after they tango naked, life still throws some curve balls at them, like one nasty ex boyfriend who thinks she should come crawling back. Yeah, like that’s going to happen without a fight.
If you like a gritty romance, with a huge dose of spice and strong characters who aren’t willing to bend, then you just might like Taming Her Wolf. If not, there's always the sweet bubblegum vampires in Twilight. lol (which by the way I really enjoyed)

Happy reading and thanks Danielle for having me back :)

Wishing you some great reading,

Dumped by his girlfriend, Gareth doesn’t think things can get any worse until he’s captured by some vampires. But he’s not about to become an all-you-can-eat-buffet without a fight.

With great age comes boredom, which suits Helen just fine until she goes looking for a new blood servant and finds herself intrigued. The wolf she brings home might want to tear her to pieces, but she’s determined to tame him. What she never expected was for him to turn the tables and capture her heart.

Despite the taboo nature of their relationship, he can’t kill her and she can’t let him go. Together, they will defy those who would deny their love, and kill the ones that threaten it.

Hi! My first vampire romance was Twilight. It was sweet, but way to YA for me! A little later, I discovered the wonderful world of paranormal romance and particularly Eve's books. Now, I can't get enough!
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Valentine Day!

While I too may have enjoyed Twilight, I prefer my stories to be much sexier, and not have "fade to black" scenes. I can't wait to check out Helen and Gareth.

Thanks for the chance to win.

@Julianne, hi, and thanks for commenting. Yes, I am planning to do at least one more maybe two stories with the main characters from Taming Her Wolf. But each story will stand alone so anybody can enjoy them. I came up with the idea because I was tired of seeing male vampires with either vampire killing girlfriends, or sweet human girls. Screw that. I wanted an imperious vampiress who embraced her state of being.

Thanks everyone who particpated. Happy reading :)

Eve - I have loved every single one of your books! Best of all, you're a fellow Canadian! That so rocks. Your heros/heroines always are different from the norm, and I really appreciate that.

I am just now discovering this genre of romance books. I tend to read historical, but have begun to delve into the paranormal genre. I have only read 2 paranormal books. One was a vampire the other a werewolf. I liked the wolf one better, but am still exploring. I am going to be checking this one out. It sounds very intriguing.
Thanks
