I know you get asked this question over and over but can you tell us a little about yourself? Maybe something juicy. ;)
Oh I’m just your average Ghanaian/American girl who
lives in sunny San Diego with an American husband who thinks my family is
crazy. My Big Fat Greek Wedding has
nothing on us. In my infinite spare
time, I chase around my two year old trying to tame her wild mane of hair, try
and corral my spunky Scottie and occasionally let my hubby pamper me. As for something juicy, let’s just say I’m
all about that movie Magic Mike. I plan
on seeing it several times.
When did you first start writing? Are you a full time author or do you do it on the side?
I started writing my first book in 2000 while I was
busy hating my PR job. I don’t write
full time yet, but the plan is to be writing full time by the end of next year.
Do you have a author that has really inspired you?
Well, Nora Roberts of course. But also Helen Fielding, Zane, and Kimberly
Kaye Terry.
How long does it normally take you to write an average book or your last
book?
Let’s see, my first book took about eight years to
write. But the subsequent ones take
anywhere from three months edits inclusive to six months depending on
length. If anyone has any idea how to
get more writing done with a two year old, I’m all ears!
What do you think makes a story great?
God, the characters. You’re characters have to be believable and
relatable. Plot is a big point too. You want something that surprises people. A great premise is one thing, but you have to
be able to see it through to the end.
Can you describe your book "Forsaken Protector" in one
sentence?
A fast paced adventure with scorching hot romance.
Have you done lots of research for your books or do the stories just
come to you?
I have to research. Alas, I can’t have all the experiences I put
in my books. I wish they would just come
to me.
What are you currently working on?
My
next book is the continuation of the In Stilettos series, Sultry in
Stilettos. It’s a sexy contemporary. After that, I’m working on the next in the
Protectors Series, Wounded Protector.
Can you tell us about some of your prior achievements?
You just gave this over achiever a heart attack. Lol.
What do you count as an achievement?
What if I don’t measure up?
Lol. I consider every book I’ve
published as an achievement that I can in fact do this. It doesn’t get any easier. Every book feels a little like climbing
Everest. I celebrate every single one.
So, my writing achievements equal Game, Set, Match, Reluctant Protector, Sexy
in Stilettos and Forsaken Protector.
Is there anything that I didn't cover that you would like to talk about
or say to your potential readers?
Just thank you
for joining me today. I hope you join me
and my characters for a fun sexy romp. I love to hear from my readers. To find out more about me, check out my

The enemy of her enemy is her friend.
Almost one year after escaping Gentech Facilities, Symone
Jackson lives in the shadows with her nightmares. Thanks to horrible genetics
experiments at the hand of Peter Reeser, her mere touch is lethal. It may be
safer to stay in the darkness, but despite the monster she has become, she
wants to be the hero…and only one man can help her.
Garrett Hunter thought he was one of the good guys, but on
routine surveillance of a suspected terrorist, he discovers the awful
truth…he’s not the only super human around. When Peter Reeser gave him the
opportunity to beat a debilitating illness he jumped at the chance. But his
decision to save the enemy—Symone Jackson—will endanger the only family he has.
The way to salvation is with Garrett’s help. Can Symone
overcome her mistrust and stop living in the shadows? Or will her nightmares
become reality?
Nana's love of all things romance and adventure started with
a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer
afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen.
She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and
channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started
creating her own characters.
Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana,
meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every
bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja job comes through,
you'll find her acting out scenes for hubby and puppy while catching up on her
favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego.
Nana is going to be giving away a ebook copy of "Forsaken Protector" to one lucky commenter. This giveaway is international and all you have to do is comment answering Nana's question from the interview. All other entries on the rafflecopter are extra but not required.

I find new authors on Amazon or blogs and try their books if the story sounds good.
I get most of my new author recommendations from Twitter. Most of the people I follow are readers, writers or book bloggers. Having a great website with lots of information makes me more likely to try them. Having buy links on the website is even better.

I get my recommendations from blogs like this one or I just read a book description.
I get recommendations from blogs, looking at book stores and the internet. I usually pick a book by the description on back. Please enter me in contest. Tore923@aol.com
I've discovered a lot of new authors and stories from posts on my favorite blogs. Paranormal romance is my favorite genre, so I like those elements in the stories I choose to read. Looking forward to this one, Nana.
I have a select group of blogs I visit on a regular basis that I take my wish list books from. I value the opinion of these bloggers and know that if they like a book, generally I will too.
Thank you so much for hosting me today! And thanks so much to everyone who answered my question so far.
I find new authors and books to read from Goodreads and from bloggers' reviews.
Hi, I'm involved in blogging and have FB book page. Lots of new authors come to me - I'm very lucky as there are so many amazing writers out there.
I also look through what's hot on Kindle in the genres that I like reading.
Thanks for the giveaway.
And your book sounds amazing Nana!
