Book Club: Discussion Questions for Born Wicked
Hello Everyone, Today is our second discussion of "Born Wicked". Hopefully everybody had time to read chapters 6 - 10.
About the Book:
Everybody knows Cate Cahill and her sisters are eccentric. Too pretty, too reclusive, and far too educated for their own good. But the truth is even worse: they’re witches. And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship—or an early grave. Before her mother died, Cate promised to protect her sisters. But with only six months left to choose between marriage and the Sisterhood, she might not be able to keep her word... especially after she finds her mother’s diary, uncovering a secret that could spell her family’s destruction. Desperate to find alternatives to their fate, Cate starts scouring banned books and questioning rebellious new friends, all while juggling tea parties, shocking marriage proposals, and a forbidden romance with the completely unsuitable Finn Belastra. If what her mother wrote is true, the Cahill girls aren’t safe. Not from the Brotherhood, the Sisterhood—not even from each other.
What did you think about these first 10 chapters?
What do you think about Brother Ishida and Brother Raston talk with Cate about her announcing a betrothal or joining the Sisterhood? Do you think their governess is a spy? Do you think that the Sisterhood are witches
We look forward to discussing the book with you and seeing what you thought. Do not feel obligated to answer all the questions that are posted. We just wanted to provide some jumping off points. Thank you so much for participating in Romance Book Junkies book club. :)

I have read the book up until this point and I am loving it. I think that Cate is in a very difficult situation. As for the governess, I don't trust her as far as I can toss the book.
I am enjoying this story very much up to this point. I don't trust the governess either. I'm hoping that Cate doesn't make the wrong decision with her future.
