Determined to prove she’s fit for the family business, exorcist Jade Clarence knows the assignment waiting in Maine is her last chance. Born into a family of exorcists, Jade’s unorthodox ideas have gotten her into trouble in the past...and cost the life of a client.
After haunting a Maine state park for more than a century, Dutch Hutchinson will do whatever it takes to bring an end to his unfulfilling existence. When an act of arson brings a beautiful exorcist to town, Dutch takes corporeal form in order to spend his last hours in her company.
Jade quickly uncovers Dutch’s true identity and finds herself falling for the man behind the spirit. But when Jade’s legacy threatens their future, they will have to overcome the greatest of odds—life and death.

Jade is an exorsist in a along line of exorsists. along with her brothers she send ghosts to where they belong and she is desperate to prove she can hang with the big boys. However little does she know that when she goes to get rid of a ghost at a remote campsite how much her life would change. Dutch is dead.. sort of . He is a ghost but he iws such a powerful spirit that he can walk in a heart-beating coporeal form. He thought he wanted to be exorcised but once he meets Jade he learnes that there is something he wants even more.

This was a good, short read. The author does a nice job explaining emotions and portraying the mentality of the two main characters. There were a few minor issues I had with the writing though. Nape is used about three times, however if someone did not know what a nape was then they would be sort of confused. Also, the romance while nice and sensual was not really anything special. It was chaste in my eyes and could have used more details, yes it is a 100pg book but more pages should have been spend on the intimate parts (not XXX but just more information so we can really feel the emotion.)

Do not get me wrong, the story is good, the characters likeable and the romance is sweet. Th is is a very nice day read in the sun or curled up with tea and a blanket (add a puppy if you have one!) I enjoyed his read.
