Goodreads Blurb:
Someone, or something, is setting fire to the homes of the city’s most infamous non-humans, racking up a body count that’s growing by the day. And strange, otherworldly creatures no one has seen before—selkies, trolls, and harpies—are causing chaos throughout the city. Racing to stop the carnage, Luna turns to sexy federal agent Will Fagin for help. As they work to uncover the source of the bloodshed, Luna’s attraction for Will deepens. But just as she learns Will’s darkest secret, Nocturne City is thrust into total chaos—leaving Luna and Will in a path of destruction they may not be able to stop…or survive.

My Review:
After the just ok last book, this series is back. Luna seems to have settled into her life and it has become almost normal, with the exception of turning into a were and dating an immortal man. And you know what happens when life becomes blah in a book, it means that all hell is ready to break open and sure enough it does right after Luna is called to a crime.

It is a seemingly normal murder, but one that puts Luna in grave danger by chasing one clue after another. Luna finds herself at the mercy of the Russian mob and trapped within them. It looks like she has finally gotten into a mess that she can't escape from and even has her second guessing things from her past. With her past firmly in her face Luna has to make some hard choices, ones that have a deep effect on her.

I can't wait to see what happens next.
