Goodreads Blurb:
It had to be nuns.

Some vampires had a thing for B+. Some preferred redheads. Others preferred blondes.

For Jasper, it had to be nuns--and he's been regretting that since the day he bit Amabel de Woodville, almost two centuries ago.

She'd done something to him. Something that restored his conscience, pointed his moral compass straight north, and ended his career of seducing virgin nuns and killing as he pleased. But even worse--she'd gotten under his skin, and he hasn't forgotten the green-eyed witch who'd been immune to his charms.

When Amabel ends up in his office, still as young as the day they'd met and seeking a charity sponsor, Jasper has the chance he's ached for: to show her the pleasure that's haunted her dreams for decades. He's taken the virginity of a hundred nuns...but a vampire nun? That's new.

And Jasper has always enjoyed a challenge.

My Review:
A fun, humorous and original paranormal read by Faye Robertson. I mean who out there would think to make a vampire lust (and I mean lust completely and unconditionally) after nuns? Faye did and she did a rocking job presenting it to us with this creatively written short story.

Jasper has an addiction as well as a conscience. Being a vampire you would think maybe tall leggy blondes or a blood type of sorts would be his addiction. But no, Jasper cannot resist a woman in a habit (he loves nuns!) He has a conscience to boot! He has tried to get rid of his craving, desire, addiction, or whatever you want to call it for many years. Nothing has worked for him. One evening in his place of work he's going about his normal thing. Once he stepped out of his office he steps into a room FULL of nuns and within minutes, face to face with the one and only Amabel de Woodville.

Amabel has done her best to make do with what has happened to her over 100 years ago. Her life could never be what it once was. She was changed without her consent and has done a damned good job keeping her secret. But you cannot always know what fate will bring your way and she's about to find out what exactly is meant to be for her.

Both Amabel and Jasper have haunted the others thoughts for years. Not that they will admit to it. But now it boils down to can Jasper control the urges that he's lived decades with and can he prove to Amabel that he is as good as he says he is?

My favorite part(s) of this book were Jasper's thoughts and some of his actions. He's very cheeky, presumptuous and bold which made for some good laughs all around. Especially when he's dealing with Amabel.

I gave this book a 4 but if I had 1/2 ratings I would have given it a 3 1/2. I recommend it to those looking for something original and short in the paranormal genre and maybe paranormal romance fans who don't mind a sexy vampire that's not very alpha in his ways. Also, if anyone would take offense to the fact that there are indeed nuns involved in any way shape or form. This is not for you.
