Goodreads Blurb: This Fight Is Personal...
Wizards and vampires have been mortal enemies since the beginning. Now Anton, son of the Wizard Master, has one last chance to steal the unique powers of the vampire king's beautiful sister, Tyra...and then kill her. But when he meets Tyra face-to-face, everything changes...
Tyra will stop at nothing to defeat the wizards, until Anton saves her life and she suddenly sees an opportunity she never could have imagined...
As the sparks ignite between them, together they could bring an end to the war that's decimating their people, but only if they can find a way to trust each other...

My Review: An exciting, sensual and fun paranormal read that tells us about love and a war between two mortal enemies, the vampires and wizards. A very enjoyable world, so vividly written it grabs a hold of you from the start and does not let go even after you reach the ending. A definite MUST read for those paranormal romance fans looking for some originality within an entertaining read.

Tyra hunts and kills the enemies of her people, now even more than ever since the death of her father. Wizards are the enemy, ALL. OF. THEM! She’s one of the most powerful of her kind and is desired by the “Master” wizard because of it. Secrets unfold and are revealed, she finds herself taken by one of the enemies, one that has confessed his love for her and tended to her when she was in need of protection and safety. But how can it happen when they’ve been enemies from the beginning. No one of her kind will allow or accept it. But will she just give up on true love or fight for it and what she knows in her heart and soul is right and true?

I absolutely adore Anton and what he represents. He’s a good looking, young, strong and kind hearted wizard that knows EXACTLY what he wants and will not stop for anything to get it! The two things he’s set on is peace between the wizards and vampires (or at least be rid of the most evil of wizards) and Tyra’s heart as his and his alone.

These two went on a very rocky and emotional ride to get at least halfway to where they both wanted to be and even encouraged many others to rid themselves of prejudices and labels along the way. I find myself wanting more of the future and present of Anton and Tyra. They are an amazing pair that has made it to the top of my favorite paranormal couples list ;)

I was unaware this was book two of a series until I went to rate it and I have to say it was so wonderfully written, it can be read as a stand-alone, but I find myself in need to go back and read the first of the series and have a feeling you will as well.
