Goodreads Blurb:
Don't think.Don't question.
Just do.
The anonymous note wasn't for me.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the habit of reading other people's mail, but it was just a piece of paper with a few lines scrawled on it, clearly meant for the apartment upstairs. It looked so innocent, but decidedly— deliciously—it was not.
Before replacing the note—and the ones that followed— in its rightful slot, I devoured its contents: suggestions, instructions, commands. Each was more daring, more intricate and more arousing than the last… and I followed them all to the letter.
Before the notes, if a man had told me what to do, I'd have told him where to go. But submission is an art, and there's something oddly freeing about doing someone's bidding…especially when it feels so very, very good. But I find that the more I surrender, the more powerful I feel—so it's time to switch up roles.
We play by my rules now.

Darcy's Review:
I found this book to be an oddly sweet story about Paige and her self discovery. Being the child of an illicit affair between her parents, it has seemed to color her life. Her and her mother were more friends then parent/child, Paige was definitely a wild child growing up, and is now just settling into herself and who she wants to be. It is a fight she has worked hard on.

Paige has a love of paper, the kind of specialty paper that is only used for special occasions and is very expensive. It is this love that brings a much needed change into her life. She starts to get notes in her mailbox, but they aren't meant for her, they are meant for someone else. But these notes strike a chord within her. She starts to live for these notes and the start to empower her, really make her start to see herself as others see her. It is a slow process, but you can see her blossom as the book goes on.

While on this new path of self discovery, she also learns hidden secrets of her past and learns things that have the potential to alter her future. These new secrets really rock her to the core, but what really affects her is learning that she has been manipulated with the notes in the first place by someone who surprises her, but she is glad for it to have happened.
