At first I was turned off by Stephan’s character and
actually put the book down for a bit (which is very unlike me). Then I decided
to pick it back up and I'm very glad I did! This short had an excellent erotic
build, a touching story and an undeniable chemistry between the two characters
that zapped out of the pages and you could actually feel to your toes :)
Renee found a perfect man to train her to be a submissive.
She’s only doing this to gain back her boyfriend who has recently left her
saying that she’s not good enough in bed and some other negative descriptions
that any woman would take to heart in the most negative of ways. Renee feels
training as a sub will help her to learn how to please him better and than he
would have no other choice but to take her back. What Renee does not expect is
a major turn of events and some secrets revealed that she never thought
possible. That and the attraction she cannot deny towards her master.
There was a lot of growth of both characters and Stephan
turned out to be an amazing man that any one out there looking to be trained as
a submissive would be lucky to have. My only peeve as an avid BDSM reader in
both fiction and non is that there was no safe word given at any time in the
story and the overly harsh treatment of Renee by Stephan at first. I'm so glad
to say it turned out great in the end. Any erotic reader that enjoys the BDSM
scene with a touching romantic edge will enjoy an escape away from reality and
in to the pages of Her Master’s Kiss.
