Goodreads Blurb:
Faith and loyalty are tested as a young girl learns what it is to believe – in herself, in her friends, and in life after death.

Cassie’s best friend, bad boy Todd, is gone. Gone as in dead. Gone as in ghost.

But she doesn’t realize that when he wakes her in her bedroom and begs her not to believe what they say about him. It’s not until the next day when her parents tell her about the accident that she learns the truth…

The police believe Todd was living up to the family name, drinking and driving and coming to a predictable end. It’s up to her to find out the truth and clear his name.

Todd is shocked at his sudden change in circumstances…and angry. He struggles with his new ghostly reality, realizing all he’s lost as he watches his brother build a relationship with Cassie as the two pair up to find out what really happened to him.

The truth isn’t always pretty, and Cassie has to be stronger than ever before. Especially when the whole world seems to be against her.

A very sweet and touching YA read that had me smiling frequently and in need of a tissue for tears of sadness at times. A complete and total mystery, with deceit, death and various kinds of love are just some of the experiences one will go through when reading In Cassie’s Corner. Any YA paranormal or YA romance fan will fully enjoy this heartbreaking story a story that shouts out to the reader to not take advantage of anything in life, enjoy even the smallest of things and treasure what you have.

Cassie is a normal teenage girl that has friends, enemies, crushes and a visiting ghost that only she can see. Well the ghost part was a strange occurrence for Cassie, she had no idea she was not speaking with Todd (her best friend) as a person, but as a ghost when he visits her bedroom late one evening. But when she finds out, she’s crushed as well as determined to prove that her friend is not what everyone believes him to be and help him to be at peace as anyone that passes should be.

Cassie investigates every possible angle along with Todd’s younger brother Jessie to clear up Todd’s reputation and find out what really occurred to cause his death. She knows deep down inside that what she is told is untrue. No one knows Todd like she does and she will prove that to them all as well!

You will be shocked and touched by the outcome of this story as well as left wanting more of what’s to come in Cassie’s life next. I know I am :)
