"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"
I think both the plot and the characters are extremely important in a great novel. Being a romance lover I would say that the characters are the most important. You have to love the characters and be able to experience all their emotions.

Carmel is studying web design... What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?
I am currently going to college for Business Administration. I don't have a 9 to 5 but I would love to own my own business. Maybe a gallery because I paint too.

Hi How are you this Friday? I been battling for the right answer to this question but for me I think its both. Though I love characters that have that sarcastic sense of humor for some reason they really just make it for me.

Happy Friday Danielle! I agree with you on characters, they're super important in romances since the plot isn't usually overly unique. If I can't relate to the characters, the whole romance falls flat. Hope you have a great weekend!
So true, when it comes to romance I do want good characters too, cos how else do i want them to get a HEA
I think both are extremely important too, but for me plot comes first by just a smidge. If the storyline doesn't grab me the characters won't either.
