Goodreads Blurb:
A woman, a man. Sausalito California 2011, San Francisco 1899. Although they live "an era apart", their goal is the same: find her missing father. And so, they meet..

Second book I've read by Chris Lange. Each one is unique and the writing quality is high (I LOVE her writing!) So vivid and fresh with a perfect amount of humor and excitement that made it even more enjoyable. Anyone that enjoys a great story with a great romantic build will enjoy An Era Apart.

Tracy is on a mission to get her father back after receiving a phone call from his captor demanding she find a mysterious item. She finds that her father has been well prepared for that very moment for he has left her specific instructions to follow. She follows those instructions to the letter and finds herself no longer in California the year 2011. But in San Francisco the year 1899 with a handsome man standing there waiting for her.

Garrett is many things. But the main concern is his responsibilities as William's (Tracy's father) assistant and his part of The Circle. He must assist Tracy in finding her father and saving all of his work from the wrong hands.

I did not like Garrett at first because he seemed cold and thoughtless towards Tracy and her feelings. But as the attraction between them grows, so does his warmth and compassion for her. I loved all of the characters within the story. They were all very original and complimented the others with their personalities, support and individual talents. But I have to tell you all, my ultimate favorite character is White Fur! You will see why when you read it. That's someone I would not mind having by my side!

One question, Is there going to be a second book?
