Do you judge a book by the cover?

Here is my pick for this week's Judge a Book by it's Cover.

"The Healer's Apprentice" by Melanie Dickerson

This is a historical romance and I have to say I like this cover much more than the old covers that have the couple on the front making out with their cloths half off. Do you know what I mean? Here's an example..

What do you think?

I really like this blog feature.

Beautiful cover, although not going to lie I like the smutty half naked ones too. The only problem with the old ones was the vague discomfort walking around Borders with one in hand, lol.

Lol. I know EXACTLY what you mean, and I definitely like the first cover better!

Agreed. I also took forever to get into the BDB books because I didn't like the mass paperback covers. I really enjoy those now.

i definitely judge a book by its cover!! i love the healer's apprentice cover. i have to say, while i don't like the romance cover here, I do like the more modern ones with couples on the cover, i can't help it!!

I am pretty guilty of judging books by covers, but I can be convinced by reviews or an awesome summary.
