It's Time! Romance Junkies Read-a-Thon has begun!

Hello Everyone! It's time to start the Romance Junkies Read-a-Thon. First thing you want to do is one of the following:

*For bloggers - create a post about the read-a-thon with your goals, tentative reading schedule and anything else you would like to include such as a list of books you want to read. Then head over to twitter and tweet the link to hashtag #RJreadathon. If you don't have a twitter account you can leave the link in the comments here.

*For readers with no blog - Go to twitter and tweet about your goals and/or tentative reading schedule. Don't forget to include the hashtag #RJreadathon in your tweet.

*For readers with no blog or twitter account - Leave a comment here with your goals, tentative reading schedule and possibly a list of books you plan to read.

Now that you've checked in so I know who's participating we can get to the read-a-thon schedule. If you do not do the first step above none of your entries into the challenges will count so that I know that the winners of the challengers are actual participants in the read-a-thon.

Day #1
4:00pm Challenge #1 Guess what's in the photo.
6:00pm Challenge #2 Make a sentence using 3 book titles.
8:00pm Challenge #3 Eve Langlais Scavenger Hunt

Day #2
1:00pm Challenge #4 Author Pen Name
4:00pm Challenge #5 Paranormal Stud
8:00pm to 9:30pm Twitter Party

Day #3
1:00pm Challenge #6 Book Title Scramble
4:00pm Challenge #7 Deserted Island
6:00pm Challenge #8 Accomplishments

All challenges will stay open until midnight on the 29th. I will be announcing all the winners from the challenges on the 30th. Make sure you include your email address in all your challenge answers so that I can contact you if you win.

Twitter Party:
To participate in the twitter party go to your twitter account and click on # Discover at the very top of your twitter home page. Then type #RJreadathon in the search box in the top right hand corner. You will see all the tweets for the whole read-a-thon. You will also want to open another page with my blog on it because the twitter prizes will be given out as follows. It will be a scavenger hunt on my blog. I will ask a question were you can find the answer on my blog somewhere and you will have 10 minutes to post the answer on twitter. Don't forget to include #RJreadathon in your tweet with the answer. I will then take all the tweets with the correct answer and put them in a drawing for the winner. The winner will be announced on twitter right after I pick one. There will be 9 questions and prizes. I hope to see you there! It's going to be a lot of fun.

Remember the #RJreadathon page on twitter is not only for the twitter party its a place were you can connect with other participants throughout the read-a-thon and get updates from Ava and me.

I know I have a lot planned but hopefully these challenges and the twitter party will give you that much needed break from reading over the 3 days. Let's remember our main goal is to read read read. Let's work on our TBR piles and have a little fun while we're at it.

Hey Danielle! I just did a basic announcement post and my nook is all ready. I didn't post a list or anything though. I'm just going to list what I've read when I'm done. I'm a slow reader so I didn't want to write down a list of books LOL. You know, just in case I don't get much accomplished.

Alright I got my post up and *think* I did the twitter part right. I'm terrible at twitter so yall might have to fix me if I didn't get it right :)

Happy reading ladies!

Twitter is far and away from me. I know nothing about it. I have just gotten a smart phone. It is so much smarter than me and it told me not to even think about doing twitter yet. So I am listening.
So trying for 24 hours of reading between midnight tonite and say 1159pm friday? All righty then. I have no blog or twitter. So I guess I am starting way in the hole haha
I am half into Love Unscripted by Tina Reber. I got it from Net Galley. If I had known how long it was, I would not have gotten it. But I want to finish it. Next would either be A Night Like This by Julia Quinn or Bared to You by Sylvia Day.

I'm hoping I can still participate in this. I don't have a twitter account, so I will not be able to tweet. I'm not sure how much I will get read since I am going to be doing this while working 8 or 10 hours days. Anyways I am hoping to finish reading "Sleepwalker" by Karen Robards. Then I am going to try and get "Grave Sight" by Charlaine Harris read and hopefully "Biker Babe in Black" by Debra Kayn.
At work last night I about an hour of reading in. I still have at least 9 chapters to go in "sleepwaker".

Hello all!

I put a decent dent in Seduced in the Dark so far and finished Untamed. Don't think I'll be done with Seduced before this ends though- meh
Becky.. Please let me know what you think of Grave Sight and Biker Babe in Black when you are through with them. I've slowed down on reading Charlaine's works for a bit because they lost a tad of their spunk that I enjoyed so. I was looking at Debra Kayn's works because I've never read from her before (I enjoy a hot cowboy and her's seem scolding!) But I am always looking for honest opinions before jumping into a new author so would appreciate the take (if you can)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The little area of floor next to the bed is room
enough to get in a complete fat-burning workout.

When you are just starting out this can be a task but after about 2-3 weeks your body will get use to the new changes and adopt quickly.
These cause bloating, poor digestion, and storing of more body fat.
