SOMETIMES WHAT YOU COVET IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP.

For werewolf Natalya Stravinsky, the supernatural is nothing extraordinary. What does seem strange is that she’s stuck in her hometown of South Toms River, New Jersey, the outcast of her pack, selling antiques to finicky magical creatures. Restless and recovering from her split with gorgeous ex-boyfriend, Thorn, Nat finds comfort in an unusual place: her obsessively collected stash of holiday trinkets. But complications pile up faster than her ornaments when Thorn returns home—and the two discover that the spark between them remains intense.

Before Nat can sort out their relationship, she must face a more immediate and dangerous problem. Her pack is under attack from the savage Long Island werewolves—and Nat is their first target in a turf war. Toss in a handsome wizard vying for her affection, a therapy group for the anxious and enchanted, and the South Toms River pack leader ready to throw her to the wolves, and it’s enough to give anybody a panic attack. With the stakes as high as the full moon, Nat must summon all of her strength to save her pack and, ultimately, herself.

Just when I thought I've read it all I read through the pages of Coveted and SURPRISE a completely different type of paranormal read! A very interesting and original story about a low ranking female werewolf that has some, issues. There were not just shifters or werewolves, no; there were wizards, goblins, witches, sprites, nymphs and more. Packed full of action and plenty of strangeness, I found it a very entertaining read, one that every paranormal or fantasy reader will enjoy an escape into :)

Nat is the lowest of the low when it comes to werewolf rank. Not even her family treats her with respect. Nat is always fighting herself and her compulsive obsession to purchase every Christmas do dad within her sight. She just wants no needs to find her place in the pack or in the world so she can feel complete. But it’s virtually impossible to do so when conflict after conflict emerges. A major one being an enemy pack is dead set to take her life from her. Then there’s the fact that she holds a torch for the future local pack alpha (Thorn), which is useless. A no body like her could never be a permanent part of his life. She needs to move on, step forward and let go of her hopes for anything with Thorn. But can she?

I'm looking very forward to the next in the series. Even though Nat showed amazing character growth and strength by the end, I cannot help but wonder if she’ll continue on that way or grow even more in Strength and character. I find myself extremely curious about where Shawntelle will go with Nat’s life and if Nat will be cured of her ailment.
