Spooktacular Day 26: Spooky Interview & Giveaway with author Gale Stanley

What kind of Halloween person are you? Dress up and party every year, give out candy maybe dressed up, or hide inside your house with the porch light off?

I love Halloween! With that being said—no, I don't dress up. But I do celebrate vicariously through my grandkids. They look so darn cute in their costumes, I have to share.

Do you decorate outside for Halloween?

Not so much anymore, but check out Halloween Past.

Are you a master pumpkin carver?

Wish I could say I did these but the credit goes to my DIL.

Tell us the scariest thing that has ever happened to you and it doesn’t have to be Halloween related.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I can only see about 3 homes where I live, so having kids come to the door at Halloween is not going to happen. We usually go to a few events in the community where our kids can dress up, get candy, and we can hand out some ourselves.

Great pics. Lots of the houses are decorated up in our neighborhood for Halloween. To trick or treating for us is quite a feat since every house sits on at least an acre. Lets just say it takes a long while...but is a lot of fun!

Morning Everyone and thanks having me, Danielle. When I was a kid we lived in a row home and trick or treating was just going from one door to the next. Kids really have to work for their treats today. LOL. Have a great weekend!

I live in a condo and have had no trick or treaters in over 20 years. At least I won't feel guilty for eating all the candy!

I have read some of Gale's works and enjoyed them. I look forward in reading more.

Thanks,
