Once again another winner in my book by Eve Langlais! I always have a great time reading her books and end up with sore cheeks from laughing and smiling at the characters antics and the humor Eve always supplies for her readers. This is the third book in the series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone however I think one would enjoy it even more if they read the first two and got the build up of Viktor’s character as well as the others that are involved. Any paranormal or romance reader will have a great time reading Croc and the Fox :)

Viktor is a hardcore serious as all heck FUC agent. A cold blooded male (literally), he takes no B.S. and will do anything it takes to complete of protect his current mission. That’s almost anything. His current mission included releasing prisoners from the maniacal scientist cells, it’s the last cell he opens that takes him for a loop. Can you say instant attraction? Well that’s what it is. Viktor feels things he’s never felt before and wants to protect this woman that latches herself on to him like cling wrap to a food dish. But there’s the age thing and the many other “ideas” he’s filling his own head with so as not to take the way he’s feeling for her to another level. Yea Vik, keep telling yourself that (pfffft).

Project is a sweet, smart, surprising and innocent woman that’s been trapped in a cell being experimented on for too many years. She has no memory of her life before being brought in to be experimented on and is reluctant to leave her cell for it’s all that she knows. The male shifter that’s her savior gives her many feelings that are strange to her, but the one she’s cherishing most is the feeling of safety and comfort. She questions the many other feelings she gets when she’s around him because they are all strange and new to her; the fluttering of her heart, the clenching of her lower parts and the urge to kiss him are all there on the forefront but he does not seems to have these same feelings and Project just does not know what to do about it. She learns more and more as time goes on and even makes some female friends. Watch out Viktor, here she comes!

I LOVED this story! I always look forward to new work from Eve and cannot wait to see what she comes up with for the next in the FUC series :)
