I will think about this book for a long time to come, that’s how much I enjoyed it. First word that comes to my mind is simple “Amazing!” Such a wonderfully written and engrossing read that even I could relate to. So very realistic it had me experiencing every emotion depicted; I was laughing until I felt like I needed an oxygen mask from the silly antics, crying and REALLY needing tissues and in complete awe of the characters combined as a whole. I know for sure many readers (even many that are not fans of this genre of book) will have a very difficult time putting this one down even for a second. This is the second time EVER I'm giving a couple from a book a song just for them and for Chris and Mia that song is Madness by Muse. It fits their situation absolutely perfectly! When you read it you'll see exactly what I mean :)

Mia is a woman of many talents, very strong minded and a true lover of my ultimate favorite snack food Swedish fish! Mia is the lead singer in an all girl rock band named Hushed Mentality. They have just been discovered and chosen to go on tour as the opening act with a major hot on the charts band The Forgotten. Psyched, pumped and ready to get it all started they meet the all male band during a meeting about the tour. To drool or not to drool, that is the question. But the lead singer of The Forgotten is not the easiest person in the world to get along with, actually he’s known as one of the biggest pain in the arse in the industry. Will Mia be able to tolerate his absolute stupidity and meanness for the months they will be on tour?

Chris (oh Chris), he’s one hot, tattooed, pierced delicious hunk of a man, and he knows it. He’s experienced a very traumatizing event as a child that haunts him to the core each and every single day since its occurrence. It has made him a virtually impossible person to deal with and (at times) very unpredictable. He’s now set in his mind to make the new all girl opening act of the tour retreat, running and screaming and never turning back! He does not want them there and is trying anything he can possibly think of to make them retreat. Hate, that’s what he’s feeling towards the lead singer Mia, but at the same time he feels a pull towards her as a person. Feelings he’s confused about mingle with his hate. He becomes even more confused when one day he realizes the Mia, her touch and her presence calms him like no pill, bottle or doctor has ever been able to accomplish.

Good times, bad times, fun times and sad times; when someone has a person that can get them through it all and more, that’s something to truly cherish. Each and every character grows as a person and each relationship (whether friendship or otherwise) develops beautifully as the story progresses. I feel all of the characters were created to fall in love with by Sadie Grubor (I know I did) and she did an excellent job. I hope those that decide to read Falling Stars enjoy it as much as I did.
